Avoiding the inevitable is pure ignorance. Many Christians say they believe in God and know one day the world as we know it will end. However, they say they just try not to think about it. They see it as negative thinking. I have to disagree, if anything, its exciting. Think about it...Jesus Christ is going to return and take his beloved. How is that negative? If you believe this to be negative you clearly do not understand the love and grace of our Father. We will be with our God Almighty and everything will be perfect! Also Jesus tells us in the Bible to WATCH, no to ignore or be asleep.

"Jesus said to them:"'Watch out that no one deceives you. Many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and will deceive many. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains. You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit."  Mark 13:5-11

"Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. It's like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with his assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch. Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back - whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!' "

Mark 13:33-37

"For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now - and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect - if that were possible."  Matthew 24:21-24

"Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you."  Revelation 3:3

"Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So it shall be! Amen."  Revelation 1:7

"Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

Revelation 22:12-13

So don't tell me I'm being negative for recognizing the things that Jesus told us. Us Christians are meant to live Christ-like lives. This includes listening to what Jesus has told us, and he has hold us to WATCH!

God bless you all!
