Celebrating Falsehood

Are you celebrating falsehood or the truth of Jesus Christ?

It's so easy to get caught up in the world and trample over the truth without even realizing you're doing it. Holidays such a Christmas and Easter are fun and exciting to share with your children but are you hiding Jesus from them? Are you denying your children the truth of Jesus Christ and teaching them falsehood? Christmas isn't about telling your children to be good or Santa won't bring them presents. Christmas is about the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There's absolutely nothing wrong with exchanging gifts but you shouldn't tell your children Santa is real. That is a lie and lying is a sin. When you make your children believe a lie and partake in false practices you are keeping your children from the Lord. Tell your children the truth. Teach them about Jesus and how much he loves us. When Easter comes around don't send your children hunting for eggs. Send them to seek the Lord. If you turn your children from the truth and if you teach your children to follow the ways of the world, then you are sending your children down the broad road to destruction. You know that love you have for your children? God has that love for us. So why deny your child such perfect unfailing love? Let's share the truth with this generation. Let's live for the Lord, not the ways of the world.

Raise your children, not in the ways of the world, but in the truth of Jesus Christ. This Sunday celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord in all you do!
